It was in 1985 that the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) reached out to us for the first time. They wanted us to develop high precision satellite components for a launch. It was a historic moment for us, indeed. Since then, we've been a part of all critical space missions of India. Building the engines of India’s rockets and other critical components, including those of the Mangalyaan and Chandrayaan missions.
It was with a vision to strengthen India’s indigenous Space and Defence program that we set foot in Aerospace & Defence.
Over time, we developed ourselves as a Tier One manufacturer of precision and hi-tech aerospace components, assemblies and systems, executing global projects which serve the defence, space and aviation sectors.
We have successfully executed numerous mission critical equipment for strategic Land & Naval applications.
In civil aviation, we are currently executing projects for global majors like Honeywell, GE, Rolls Royce, Boeing and Safran. We have an integrated manufacturing set-up with capabilities in hi-tech machining, complex fabrication, assembly and testing, with a recently established state-of-the-art rubber and composites facility.
In 2018, we delivered the first airframe assembly for the air-launched version of the prestigious BrahMos missile to India's Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL).
Come, partner with us to experience the same level of innovation, precision and integrity that has helped make India a self-reliant leader on the world stage.
Godrej Aerospace is the sole manufacturer of Liquid Engines for Space Launch Vehicles for the Indian Space Research Organization along with our consortium partner. Apart from the engines, we also supply complex thrusters for satellite applications and complex assemblies for Cryogenic & Semi Cryogenic Engines for Launch Vehicles.

A transformative change significantly alters the profile, capabilities, contours and culture of an organization. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a well-established way of managing production resources for meeting ever-rising standards of productivity, quality and reliability.
The ‘can-do’ attitude and deep confidence in the capabilities of the team are essential to execute large projects having complex developmental work.
Executing well in aerospace calls for exceptional expertise in managing projects as well as the building of new capabilities. Unstinted support of the top management is crucial.
An outstanding achievement by ISRO and their partners
The journey of Godrej Aerospace began in 1985 when our founder, Mr. Naval P. Godrej (NPG) took the strategic decision of Godrej entering this industry, to enable ISRO to take forward India’s strategic independence in space.
Thank You!
