As a significant shareholder of Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., the Flagship Company of the Godrej Group, the Pirojsha Godrej Foundation (established in 1972) utilises its income from dividends for promoting the objectives of the Trust, which include providing medical relief to people from marginalized economic backgrounds, and critically ill, educational aid to students, disaster relief funds, and preserving India’s biodiversity.

Magic Bus Foundation - With the support of the Pirojsha Godrej Foundation, we were able to supply dry ration kits to 1243 families across 14 wards in Mumbai during the COVID crisis in 2020 via Milkar Platform.

Bal Ashram

 

Bal Ashram - Several families in the Banjara communities were hit hard by the COVID pandemic. There were loss of livelihoods and unavailability of essentials. With the support of Pirojsha Godrej Foundation, we were able to provide rations and essentials to 900 families for 3 months in Viratnagar and Thanagazi blocks of Rajasthan. 2840 dry ration kits were provided to the families between April and June 2020.
