Terms and Conditions for #SpotTheSmartCareNumber Contest
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST.
BY PARTICIPATING OR MAKING AN ENTRY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY. THIS CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO THE PARTICIPANT’S AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HEREIN.
1. #SpotTheSmartCareNumber Contest ("Contest") is being organised by Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd – (“G&B”), valid throughout India, except for Tamil Nadu and in the states where prohibited by law and is valid for the residents of India, of the age of eighteen (18) years and above at the time of participating in the Contest(“Participant/Participants”).
2. The Contest will run from 7th January 2022, 10:00 AM to 9th January 2022, 11:59 PM (referred to as “Contest Days”) on the official Facebook and Instagram accounts of G&B.

3. Details of the Contest:
a. Contest Name: #SpotTheSmartCareNumber
b. Contest Days: 7th January 2022, 10:00 AM to 9th January 2022, 11:59 PM
c. Last Date and time of participation in the Contest: 9th January 2022, 11:59 PM
d. The Contest will be held on official accounts of G&B on Facebook and Instagram
4. Steps for participation in the Contest:
A) Steps for participation on Facebook:
a) To participate in the Contest, the Participant has to follow the official G&B Facebook account of G&B.

b) The Participant will have to share the Contest post as a story on facebook and tag the official Facebook account of G&B.
c) The Participants will have to spot the Godrej Smart Care Number (1800 209 5511) hidden within the first 40 seconds of the film, which will together form the Godrej Smart Care Number – 1800 209 5511, the screenshots has to be shared as Direct Message (“DM”) to the official account of G&B (on Facebook).
d) The Participant cannot share the screenshot answers as stories, If any Participant shares the answers as screenshots within the Contest period, then their participation will be revoked and their entry will be considered not valid.
e) It is mandatory to follow the official account of G&B on Facebook and adhere to the participation rules and regulations to be considered as a valid entry.
f) Only 1 entry per Participant is allowed through either Facebook or Instagram.
B) Steps for participation on Instagram:
a) To participate in the Contest, Participant has to follow the official G&B Instagram account of G&B.

b) The Participant will have to share the Contest post as a story on instagram and tag the official Instagram account of G&B.
c) The Participants will have spot the Godrej Smart Care Number (1800 209 5511) hidden within the first 40 seconds of the film, which will together form the Godrej Smart Care Number – 1800 209 5511, the screenshots has to be shared as Direct Messange (“DM”) to the official account of G&B (on Instagram).
d) The Participant cannot share the screenshot answers as stories, If any Participant shares the answers as screenshots within the Contest period, then their participation will be revoked and their entry will be considered not valid.
e) It is mandatory to follow the official account of G&B on Instagram and adhere to the participation rules and regulations to be considered as a valid entry.
f) Only 1 entry per Participant is allowed through either Facebook or Instagram.
5. Selection of Winner:
Winners to #SpotTheSmartCareNumber will be the first 10 Participants to send all the frames from the film which has the number 1800 209 5511 in its full form or as parts (minimum three number combinations) sent as DM (“Winners”).
6. The Winners would be announced on or before 17th January 2022 on G&B official social media pages.
7. The Winners will be chosen by G&B and the decision shall be final and binding on all Participants and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Prize of the Contest:
a) Winners to the Contest will be given a gift hamper or voucher (at G&B’s discretion) worth Rs 1000/- each.
b) Only the first 10 Participants to send all the correct frames from the film which has the number 1800 209 5511 in its full form or as parts (minimum three number combinations) as DM will be taken as Winners.
9. Winner will be contacted by G&B representative via email/social media. Winner needs to share their details within 48 hours from their name being announced along with a picture/scanned copy of a valid photo ID proof. In case the Winner fails to submit his/her contact details within 48 hours, the gratification for the same will be forfeited.
10. By participating in this contest, the Participants have agreed and have consented to put up their entries/mention on official Facebook and Instagram accounts of G&B. G&B shall not be responsible or liable for any comments/remarks put on the posts or accounts by the public.
Any personal information provided by the Participant, shall be used by G&B for the purposes and in relation to this contest, including but not limited to informing the Winners, management of entries, displaying publicly the names of Winners and for other purposes incidental to these activities.
11. G&B reserves all the rights to change the gratification for the Winners of the Contest. In case of any changes, Winners will be informed by a message on their Facebook/Instagram handles.
12. G&B can, at its discretion, disqualify any Participant in case the contestant is not abiding by the rules of the contest.
13. Any entry must be the actual screen shot from the film, the Participant can not tamper or add or edit the film content. Any photo or video editing done to add the number by the Participant will be considered illegal and will not be considered valid for participation and may be removed from the participation. G&B also reserves the right to disqualify any entry which is illegal, incomplete, indecipherable or corrupt or which does not comply with the terms and conditions given herein.
14. Mere participation in the contest or sending the entry does not entitle a participant to gratification. Any fraudulent conduct or use of unfair means, tools, and software shall disentitle the Participant.
15. The responsibility of collecting the prize(s) rests with the Contest Winner(s) only as per the guidelines provided. All prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
16. The Winner shall bear all applicable taxes including but not limited to GST, income tax and any other statutory levy as may be applicable from time to time in relation to the Prize. The Winner is solely responsible for any other expense related to the acceptance of Prize and G&B or its associate companies shall not in any manner be liable or responsible for the same. The applicable taxes (if any) will be informed to the Winner through email and he/she shall be required to pay the same in the form of Demand Draft in the name of Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd payable at Mumbai.
17. G&B makes no warranty that the Contest will meet Participants expectations or that the Contest will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free. G&B shall use commercially reasonable measures to restore any interruptions or errors in the Contest.
18. The Participants shall indemnify and hold G&B or any of its group entities or afilliates, their respective directors, officers, agents harmless from any action, claims, demands, cost, charges, expenses or loss either direct or indirect incurred by G&B by reason of any act or omission of the Participant or any violation of clause 13 above or violation of any of the terms of this contest by a Participant.
Participant acknowledges and agrees that G&B shall not be liable for any damage or loss (including but not limited to indirect damages or losses) arising from personal injury or death, or loss of, or damage to property, which might be sustained in connection with this Contest or the prize, except to the extent any liability is not excluded by law.
19. G&B reserves the right to modify, cancel, extend, or discontinue the Contest without giving any reason or prior notice.
20. By participating in the Contest, Participants agree to grant G&B free of charge, worldwide, perpetual right and license to use, their photo / screen shot in any manner and media, including without limitation, the right to publish, adapt, distribute, copy, display or translate in printed or electronic media even if they are not the winning entries.
21. The #SpotTheSmartCareNumber is just for engaging customers or prospects and there is neither any relation to gambling or any sort of lottery, nor does G&B through this Contest intent on harming any sentiments of society or people who do not qualify.
22. All disputes related to this contest shall be subject to the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.
23. Notwithstanding the foregoing, employees of G&B and its affiliates, subsidiaries or employees of any entity involved in the development, production, implementation and distribution of the Contest, including any advertising or promotion agency, associated with this Contest any family members or persons living in the same household as such persons are not eligible to enter the Contest.
