Terms and Conditions for #SmartCarePuzzle Contest
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST.
BY PARTICIPATING OR MAKING AN ENTRY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY. THIS CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO THE PARTICIPANT’S AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HEREIN.
1.#SmartCarePuzzle Contest ("Contest") is being organised by Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. – (“G&B”), valid throughout India except for Tamil Nadu and in the states where prohibited by law and is valid for the residents of India, above the age of eighteen (18) years (at the time of participating in the contest) (“Participants”).
2. The Contest will run from 11th March 2022 (Friday), 07:00 PM to 17th March 2022 (Thursday), 11:59 PM (referred to as “Contest Days”) on the official Facebook and Instagram pages of G&B (links provided below).

3. Details of the Contest:
a. Contest Name: #SmartCarePuzzle<
b. Contest Days: 11th March 2022 (Friday), 07:00 PM to 17th March 2022 (Thursday), 11:59 PM
c. Last Date and time of participation in the Contest: 17th March 2022 (Thursday), 11:59 PM
d. The Contest will be held on official accounts of G&B on Facebook and Instagram
4. Steps for participation in the Contest:
4A) Steps for participation on Facebook:
a. The Participants will have to follow the official accounts of G&B on Facebook and Instagram

b. The Participants will have to adhere to all the Contest requirements for participation.
c. The Participant will have to share the contest post as a story and Tagg the official facebook account of G&B
d . The Participant will also have to send a screen shot of the story post as a Direct message (DM) to G&B official Facebook account.
e. The Participants will have to take a screenshot and mark all the 7 products that are hidden in the puzzle and send the image with the answers marked as a Direct message (DM) to G&B’s official Facebook account.
f. It is mandatory to follow the official Facebook account of G&B and adhere to the participation rules and regulations to be considered as a valid entry.
g. Only 1 entry per Participant is allowed on either Facebook or Instagram
h. The Participants cannot share the screenshot answers as stories / post, which will enable other Participants if any to know the answers This can result into disqualifying such Participant.
4B) Steps for participation on Instagram
a. The Participants will have to follow the official accounts of G&B on Facebook and Instagram

b. The Participants will have to adhere to all the contest requirements for participation.
c. The Participant will have to share the contest post as a story and Tagg the official Instagram account of G&B
d. The Participant will also have to share a screen shot of the story posts as a Direct Message (DM) to G&B’s official Instagram account.
e. The Participants will have to take a screenshot and mark all the 7 products that are hidden in the puzzle and has to share the same as a Direct Message (DM) to G&B’s official Instagram account.
f. It is mandatory to follow the official Instagram account of G&B and adhere to the participation rules and regulations to be considered as a valid entry.
g. Only 1 entry per Participant is allowed on either Facebook or Instagram
h. The Participants cannot share the screenshot answers as stories / post, which will enable other Participants if any to know the answers. This can result into disqualification of such Participant.
5. Selection of winner:
Winners to #SmartCarePuzzle Contest will be chosen through a lucky draw.
Only Participants who have followed the mentioned steps for participation will be eligible for the lucky draw process.
6. The winners would be announced on or before 07th April 2022 on G&B official social media pages.
7. Once the winners are announced the winning Participant will have to submit his/her official government document for age proof.
8. The winners will be chosen by G&B and the decision shall be final and binding on all Participants and no correspondence will be entered into with the Participiants towards any discrepancies raised by the Participants.
9. Prize of the contest:
a) Winners to #SmartCarePuzzle Contest will be given a gift hamper or voucher (at G&B’s discretion) worth Rs 1000/- each
b) Only those who have shared the correct answers and followed all the steps will be eligible for the lucky draw, from which 20 winners will be chosen (10 from Facebook and 10 from Instagram)
c) Participants below 18 years will be disqualified.
10. Winner will be contacted by G&B representative via email/social media. Winner needs to share their details within 48 hours of the name being announced/intimated along with a picture/scanned copy of their valid photo ID proof. In case the winner fails to submit his/her contact details within 48 hours, the gratification for the same will be forfeited.
11. By participating in this Contest, the Participants have agreed and have consented to put up their entries/comments on Facebook and Instagram. G&B shall not be responsible or liable for any comments/remarks put on the site/posts/pages by the public.
Any personal information provided the Participant, shall be used by G&B for the purposes and in relation to this Contest, including but not limited to informing the winners, management of entries, displaying publicly the names of winners and for other purposes incidental to these activities.
12. G&B reserves all the rights to change the gratification for the winners of the Contest. In case of any changes, winners will be informed by a message on their Facebook/Instagram handles.
13. G&B can, at its discretion, disqualify any Participant in case the Participant is not abiding by the rules of the Contest.
14. Mere participation in the contest or sending the entry does not entitle a Participant to gratification. Any fraudulent conduct or use of unfair means, tools, and software shall disentitle the Participant.
15. The responsibility of collecting the prize(s) rests with the Contest winner(s) only. All prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
16. The winner shall bear all applicable taxes including but not limited to GST, income tax and any other statutory levy as may be applicable from time to time in relation to the Prize. The winner is solely responsible for any other expense related to the acceptance of Prize and G&B or its associate companies shall not in any manner be liable or responsible for the same. The applicable taxes (if any) will be informed to the winner through email and he/she shall be required to pay the same in the form of DD in the name of Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd payable at Mumbai.
17. Decision of G&B in terms of selection of entries shall be at its own discretion and shall be final and binding.
18. The Participants shall indemnify and hold G&B or any of its group entities or afilliates, their respective directors, officers, agents harmless from any action, claims, demands, cost, charges, expenses or loss either direct or indirect incurred by G&B by reason of any act or omission of the Participant or any violation of any of the terms of this Contest by a Participant.
Participant acknowledges and agrees that G&B shall not be liable for any damage including but not limited to any indirect damages arising arising in relation to this Contest.. G&B makes no warranty that the Contest will meet Participants expectations or that the Contest will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free. G&B shall use commercially reasonable measures to restore any interruptions or errors in the Contest.
19. G&B reserves the right to modify, cancel, extend, or discontinue the Contest without giving any reason or prior notice.
20. By submitting entries to in the #SmartCarePuzzle Contest, Participants agree to grant G&B free of charge, worldwide, perpetual right and license to use, their photo / screen shot in any manner and media, including without limitation, the right to publish, adapt, distribute, copy, display or translate in printed or electronic media even if they are not the winning entries.
21. The #SmartCarePuzzle Contest is just for engaging customers or prospects and there is neither any relation to gambling or any sort of lottery, nor does G&B through this contest intent on harming any sentiments of society or people who do not qualify.
22. All disputes related to this contest shall be subject to the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.
23. Employees of G&B and its affiliates, subsidiaries or employees of any entity involved in development, production, implementation and distribution of the Contest, including any advertising or promotion agency, associated with this Contest any family members or persons living in the same household as such persons are not eligible to enter the Contest.
