Salient Features

The Segregated Phase Busduct is designed to operate in the most onerous environmental conditions and meet the stringent international specifications.
The enclosures, except the top and bottom cover sheets, are made out of extruded Aluminium sections. This provides structural rigidity and dimensional stability apart from a very aesthetic look. All the extrusions comprising side rails, Insulator support channel, top & bottom tie channels and flanges are profiled to form a composite structure. Custom-made gaskets are fixed in the slots of the extrusions to provide the necessary degree of protection. The top & bottom cover sheets firmly fixed to the extrusion with clamping arrangement.
The insulator support channel is designed to withstand the short circuit forces transferred to the base of the insulator. Adjacent sections of enclosures are joined by spice plates to ensure best possible earth continuity throughout the entire length of the Busduct. All hardware and fixings on the enclosures are made of stainless steel to prevent occurrence of corrosion The Insulators are mounted on neoprene rubber pads to relieve stress at the base of the insulators.
Phase segregation are clamped along the entire length to make the installation flexible

The comprehensive services include complete Design and Engineering of Substations/Transmission Lines, procurement and timely delivery of equipment at site, civil works and installation, testing and commissioning. Godrej has always been a champion of environmental protection and preservation. India’s largest tract of privately owned mangroves is preserved by Godrej in Vikhroli, Mumbai. However, we realised that in order to live up to this philosophy, we would need to start impacting the design of urban structures. The first effort towards this was the support lent to the development and commissioning of the first LEED Platinum rated building in India, the CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre at Hyderabad in 2004.

Today, we have a dedicated team of 60 experienced professionals to provide green building design consultancy in sync with the client’s project objectives.

We have experience across consulting projects as diverse as residential spaces, office buildings, mall, hotels, schools, colleges, government buildings and so on. More than 200 such projects have been Certified / Pre-certified, of which over 60 are Platinum rated projects and 100 are Gold rated projects.
