Distillation Column

Impurities present in the leaked Heavy water from the reactor system are removed in Heavy Water (D2O) Distillation Tower by various physio-chemical processes. The downgraded heavy water is improved to reactor grade, suitable for reuse. Godrej has been qualified by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for the manufacturing of Distillation Column.
