Kingston and Vent Valves

Application
• Main flap for water in /out for Diving and Surfacing System in Main Ballast Tanks (MBTs) of Submarine.

Key Features
Kingston valves are fitted at the bottom of the MBTs for:
• Taking sea water into the ballast tanks for the submarine to dive by opening the valves.
• Discharging sea water when the ballast tanks are blown with high pressure air.
• Sealing the opening at the bottom of MBTs by shutting the Kingston.
• Operated both inwards for taking water in and outwards for Sonar & Quick Diving Tank Operated by Hydraulic and pneumatic system.
