The Centre for Excellence is being set up, along with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), at Pirojshanagar in memory of the Late N. P. Godrej, who played a major role in building Indian industry and more specifically in building the Godrej & Boyce industrial garden township. The Centre will comprise a Management Institute covering management systems of various types and cultures, including ancient and modern Indian, Western, Japanese and so on.
