In a massive campaign to reach out to the public for its Home Security Products Godrej SED jointly with Kochi city police have come out with the novel concept “Police at your Door Steps”. The project involves distribution of more than 10000 booklets to Kochiites, the booklet contains all useful information / tips on security at home/public places, Traffic signals, legal aid available to common man apart from some of the useful telephone numbers in case of emergency.

As a New Year Gift to all Kochiites, the campaign was kick started by releasing the booklet at Kochi on Dec 26th 2006, by the Honorable mayor of Kochi City Corporation Ms. Mercy Williams & DIG Mr. Ravada Chandrasekhar. Kochi City Police Commissioner Mr. P. Vijayan and Mr. Suresh Namboodiri, Sr. Manager, Security Equipment Division, Kochi Branch were also present at the function. The concept is first of its kind in Kerala to be initiated by Kochi City Police, what’s more interesting is that the entire project was conceptualized and developed by SED Kochi Br jointly with Kochi city police. For the Kochiites it was indeed a feeling of having the Police at your Doorstep.
