Godrej may set up plant in HP

Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co is planning to set up a microwave assembly unit in the northen region. The company’s executives are considering Himachal Pradesh as the location for this project. At present, the firm imports microwaves from East Asia. As part of its marketing strategy, the company introduced a range of microwaves ovens with powerwave technology. The new range of ovens includes 5 models with 20-30 liters capacity. The range includes solo and grills as well as convention models, in addition to powerwaves.
